Franz von Felt is a very handsome 6-7 year old German Shepherd. “Very handsome” is an understatement for Franz “heart-throb” von Felt. Per his own words, “Hi, my name is Franz! I am an extra-large boy with a big heart to match! I walk great on leash, not using much strength, so even new volunteers can walk me! With my size, you will always feel safe around me. I also walk wonderfully next to other dogs; I am very comfortable in my own skin and am perfectly happy in many situations. I am medium energy and just the perfect gentle giant. They put a “cuddle-bug” sign on my kennel because that’s just what I am, and I guess the kennel techs needed to remember that I need an extra dose of cuddling each day. I also give the sweetest bear hugs and I hope you never let me go! With my wonderful manners and gentle ways, I can fit easily into many homes. In my playgroups, I like the other calm dogs and might flinch a little if a hyper dog runs at me (why do puppies always insist on doing that?) I am already housebroken.
